My Signature Lasagne!
Over the years my Lasagne has become a favourite amongst family and friends!
Tweaking different recipes and ideas I have come to create the most delicious lasagne.
In true Emily style it’s made with love, to be shared, enjoyed and followed by a big nap haha.

250ml cooking cream
2 1/2 cups plain flour
3 1/2 cups milk
300g grated parmesan cheese
400g baking/melting cheese
Lasagne sheets
Method
Preheat oven to bake 150 degrees
Meat Sauce
Crush garlic & finely chop onion, parsley & basil
Add some olive oil to a hot pan, add garlic and onion and cook until browned
Add mince and cook until brown
Add basil & parsley to meat
Add tinned tomato, stock, salt and pepper (as much as you like) and tomato paste
let simmer until liquid reduces to a thick, rich sauce
White Sauce
In a medium/large pot heat the milk so that it is warm but not boiling
Add in the flour little by little and stir vigorously with a whisk until a thick, saucy consistency
Add salt and pepper
Construction
In a deep baking dish add first layer of lasagne sheets
Add a layer of mince sauce
Add a layer of white sauce
Add a mixed layer of parmesan and melting cheese & add a thin layer of cream
(continue until you reach the top of the baking tray)
With the top of the lasagne, after adding the final sheets give a generous layer of melting cheese completely covering the lasagne sheets, cover with cream and put in the oven until golden and baked to perfection!
