Our fun family day out at The Women’s Big Bash League Weekend & find out more about the games ahead for 2019!
You would have seen from my posts and Instagram stories last week that we had a ball taking Alina to the Women’s Big Bash League Event last weekend! Where the Perth Scorchers versed the Melbourne Renegades at the WACA. The WBBL is a family friendly, free event and a great opportunity for a fun day out for the kids with loads of activities and entertainment! With food vans, inflatable slip n slide, activity stations and so much more! Plus the public will be able to watch all matches on the WACA ground for the first time ever!
It was a great opportunity to support women in sport and get out amongst the community for some fun. The atmosphere was pumping and with the match, the food and the fun family activities combined it made for a great day out!
There was plenty to do to keep little ones entertained but Alina really enjoyed watching most of the match too and would dash between the play areas and where we were seated haha!
What I was quite surprised by was the value for money! With free entry being a massive plus the food was extremely affordable, not like other events we have attended. We had two adult meals and drinks for just $15! Not to mention the food was excellent, and I’d definitely go back for it haha! Both my husband and I commented on the quality of food and the price point. Especially for larger families with more than one child!
If you’d like to take your family down and watch a match the dates are below;
Jan 5 – Perth Scorchers v Brisbane Heat
Jan 13 – Perth Scorchers v Sydney Sixers
Jan 18 – Perth Scorchers v Hobart Hurricanes
Jan 24 – Perth Scorchers v Sydney Thunder
Jan 28 – Perth Scorchers v Melbourne Renegades
Feb 3 – Perth Scorchers v Melbourne Stars
