MY FAVOURITE KID FRIENDLY PERTH CAFES!

Since Alina was born I found it extremely helpful to get out and about for my mental state. As Alina grew older and got more mobile, I found it difficult and less enjoyable to go to a cafe that wasn’t child friendly! Over the past 3.5 years I have been to many a cafe and restaurant and have added to this list so that you can find somewhere to take the kids and enjoy a catch up with friends or a lunch out with the family!

Little Olive Leaf Cafe
7 Archibald St, Willagee

Little Olive Leaf Cafe is a nice little cafe tucked away on a quiet street in Willaee, South of the river. It has a great little outdoor area for the little ones to play including mini table and chairs, communal toys, a chalk board and shade. It is also directly across from a park and playground which is another reason we love this little gem!

Hobart St Deli
45 Hobart St, Perth

We've been visiting Hobart St Deli ever since Alina was 6 months old. It's great for playdates and catch ups with friends. The cafe has a great variety of food and they make great coffee!! It is also directly across the road from a gated play ground which is extremely popular with mothers from all over Perth.

Moore and Moore Cafe
46 Henry Street, Fremantle

We love Moore and Moore Cafe, we are big Fremantle fans and are there at least once or twice a week. Moore and Moore has a beautiful relaxed atmosphere and is perfect for parents with a little childrens area to play! Including toys, a chalk board and a rocking horse (Alina's favourite). They also do Hubby's favourite coffee and the most delicious baby chinos (I may have tasted Alina's on more than one occassion haha).

Timber Cafe
51 Wright Road, Harrisdale

We came across Timber Cafe not too long ago and enjoy meeting up with friends there. They have a great set up for families and Alina has a ball every time we go!

Blacksmith Perth
460 Beaufort Street, Highgate

Like the other cafe's mentioned we love the Blacksmith for the same reasons. It's a great place to bring the kids, has a sandpit, toys, a cubby house and great food and drinks!

Island Market Trigg
364 West Coast Dr, Trigg WA 6O29

Island Market is great for a smaller group, I have been there with a group of over 7+ children and you do get side eyed by the staff for the noise, even if you’re by the play area! But if it’s just your family and bubs or a smaller group (less noisy) with kids you’ll be fine! They have a section for kids up the back with a little play area and in Summer you can open up the doors to the grassed play area outside.

The Shorehouse
278 Marine Parade, Swanbourne

I love The Shorehouse, it is def in my top 3 cafe’s to venture out to! It’s right on the beach in Swanbourne and is amazing in Summer! The food is great and so is the atmosphere! There are toys for the kids to play with, colouring in for the kids too and once you’ve eaten and enjoyed your time at the cafe there is a gated playground between the cafe and the beach! We’ve been going here for years and LOVE it!

The Quarter Acre Hotel
767 Canning Hwy, Applecross WA 6153

I’ve only been here once but it was really good! They have a little play area for the kids, food was nice and on a sunny day it’s a great spot!

The Camfield
Roger MacKay Dr, Burswood WA 6100

I’ve only been here once too and it was a nice venue! Kid friendly with a little spot for them to play outdoors, it’s right next to a massive gated play ground too! Plenty to do as a family. If you have bikes, definitely bring them down!

Mandoon Estate
10 HARRIS ROAD, CAVERSHAM WA 6055

Mandoon is stunning! I love it there. It’s definitely worth the trip out for a nice day with friends or family. It’s a gorgeous spot with great food, amazing scenery, playground, so much grassed area which is perfect for a picnic etc! I’m definitely due a trip back soon!
